The Santerre lab engages in multidisciplinary, dynamic, and exciting research encompassing the fields of polymer synthesis, biomaterial design, tissue engineering, and drug delivery. With a focus on technologies with potential clinical impact, the ultimate goal of the lab's members and their research is to generate biomaterials innovation to benefit the clinic, the biomedical engineering industry, and society. The cardiac patch project and bone tape project from the Santerre Lab were among several projects that received new federal funding for collaborative health research projects.
